I birded today with Tom Malone & Brian Wisconsin. Brian got to add 5 to his list, inching him closer to 100.
For me it was especially fun to see a Parasitic Jaeger off the Wisconsin Point; a new bird for my life list. I am reporting that even though it was not Minnesota. (Close but no cigar for those MN fanatics). Lots of Ring-billed Gulls, a small flock of Bonaparte's, 1 Herring Gull, and 1 Thayer's. Also recall seeing 3 Black-bellied Plovers. Our great birding adventure ended with a trip to Hawk Ridge where they were releasing Sharp-shinned Hawks. I actually got to see some in flight that were not banded so that was great for me. Tom spotted a Peregrine Falcon in flight, another bonus for the trip.
