A quick stop on the way to work this morning to scan the mostly frozen surface yielded:
*Canada Geese* - large & medium - Dozens *Gadwall* - 15 *Mallards* - 5 *Red-tailed Hawk* -perched on snag over the water. A bit of an unusual spot. *Crow* - 1 walking on the ice Also saw male *Cardinal* at home. Pleasant, but I was hoping to spot the *Wood Ducks* I saw there this weekend to add them to my December list.
