SAX-ZIM GREAT GRAY OWL FEATURED ON NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL!

Mark your calendars for Sunday February 12th 7pm-10pm (those of you with
cable/satellite anyway).

They are running the 3-part series on Wildlife of the Upper Mississippi River
back-to-back-to-back. (Sax-Zim was the "stunt double" for bogs over near
Itasca) CHECK LOCAL LISTINGS!

I filmed with veteran wildlife videographers, Neil and Laura Rettig
(BBC/Nature/National Geographic) last winter in the Sax-Zim Bog. Many of you
have seen their "American Eagle" Nature special that has been shown on PBS
recently. They are based in southwestern Wisconsin.

They found several of their own Great Grays but a very independent Great Gray I
found on Creek Road became the star when they "captured" him plunging with a
$200,000 SUPER SLOW-MOTION CAMERA (1,000 frames per second!)
