On this beautiful Sunday, I decided to take a road trip. I found the spotted towhee in Austin (Bird No. 300 in MN for me. Thanks to Craig Mandel for the suggestion!) along with a white-throated sparrow. Also, the varied thrush in Hastings. A total of 24 species for the day stopping several times to scrape ice off the windshield and wipers.
