Hi, A friend just called to ask if I knew what these birds could be. She was driving north on Hwy 52, just north of Cannon Falls, and she watched "thousands" of these birds flying south. She said she saw them for at least 5 miles, and they were still coming. She knows a bit about birds, and she says they were smaller than geese, and flew more like ducks. They weren't in formation - just in one big flock.
