Horned larks were very common today along Sherburne County Roads 3, 11 and 16.
I also saw several flocks of American tree sparrows northwest of the refuge,
and there were a few birds at the refuge HQ feeder today as well.

A belted kingfisher was along the St. Francis River behind our office for a
while this afternoon, and we're happy to report that at least 4 refuge bald
eagle nests have adults in incubation posture as of late last week.
