At 3:45 PM this afternoon, I was driving down Ware Road a couple blocks
north of County J (Ash Rd) in Lino Lakes and saw 2 Sandhill Cranes walking
across the road. In fact, I had to come to a stop to let them cross. They
were heading into the yard of a house on the east side of the road that has
a small pond inn the front yard. Where is your camera when you need it?
Last fall I also saw Sandhill Cranes in a nearby subdivision and on Hodgson
Road north of County J several times.
