I was headed home yesterday when I passed the intersection of Cedar
Ave. and Dodd Road in Lakeville where many of you know the is a stand
of trees that contains a stick nest that often holds Great Horned
Owls. The entire stand of trees has been cut down and the area is now
a flat, wide open space that will soon be retail space. I had not
seen any activity near the nest this spring so I don't know if the
nest was active. I'm just passing this along so folks won't bother
driving down there to look for owls.
