61 species in the Sherburne Refuge, Princeton area today. First of years included: Horned Grebe, Osprey, Coot, Winter Wren (singing), Vesper Sparrow & Western Meadowlark.
Had 22 species of waterfowl here last week, not sure that's happened that early before. Considerably ahead of year totals since moving here in '03, many birds are 1-2 weeks early.
