Spent a couple of hours hiking the Minnesota River Valley Refuge (Old Cedar Bridge and Bass Ponds) this afternoon. Diversity of waterfowl is declining but still got 11 species. FOY birds for me included:
Peregrine Falcon (at nest box on Black Dog Power Plant smokestack) Belted Kingfisher Turkey Vulture Yellow rumped Warbler.
