Driving up Flying Cloud Drive (old 212) between Hwy 101 in Chanhassen and
Pioneer Trail (Eden Prairie), we noticed today that the Minnesota River is
incredibly low, revealing spacious mudflats filled with shorebirds. I couldn't
take the time to stop and look, but it's unusual to see so much mud in that
area, so it might be worth a visit if any birders are looking for shorebirds.
