NOTE: Program location is the Brookdale Library in Brooklyn Center. On Tuesday, April 3, Laura Erickson, author of “Twelve Owls” and many other books, will do a presentation on Owls of Minnesota. Twelve owl species have been recorded in Minnesota. Some are common and widespread, a few are extremely rare and localized. Learn how owl bodies work and how each of our owls negotiates life in Minnesota. Archimedes, Laura Erickson’s education Eastern Screech-Owl, will be there so you can see an owl up close and personal.
