The osprey pair that nest at the Sovereign Vineyards have returned and are nest building. At the feeders at Lowry Nature Center were Dark-eyed Juncos, Common Grackles, a Red-bellied Woodpecker, Black-capped chickadees, 2 Fox Sparrows, a Brown headed Cowbird, American Crows and off the main road to the Center a Northern Harrier Male cruising for food. At the Osprey nest at the center a pair were nest building. On lake Waconia were Pied-billed Grebes and American Coots. At the marsh off Paradise Lane were Canada Geese, Pied-billed Grebes, A Bufflehead pair and a pair of No. Shovelers.
