Subject: [mou-net] Shorebird spot in McLeod County

Zooming my way to SD I had to turn my car around at a lake on 169 (north side)
just east of Brownton. There were good mud flats and dozens of distant
shorebirds. The wind and my need to git goin' led to cursory IDs for Greater &
Lssr YLs and Pectoral SPs. There where other sizes present.... Alos of noter
were more than 600 Green-winged Teal covering the lake. Blue-winged Teal were
quite numerous as well. A few Pintail Ducks, Northern Shovelers and Gadwall
were clear minorities.

Hennepin County (though I hardly ever bird there, it seems)
