Hi All, We're planning a prescribed burn for tomorrow late morning and through the afternoon on the SE side of the refuge, west side of Little Elk Lake. Smoke will travel to the NW, so the Prairie's Edge Wildlife Drive will be right in the line of this, with the leading edge of the fire less than two miles away. If you're planning a trip up, get there early in the a.m. Burns don't usually begin until mid to late morning - 10 or 11 am - but depends on conditions. OR just come another day. Betsy
