April 14, 2012 Minnesota Valley National Wildlife RefugeRapids Lake UnitVisitor 
Center - loop trail Enjoyed a nice walk at the refuge this morning.  There were 
lots of Wild Turkeys calling, along with Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers and Field 
Sparrows.  Along the entrance road to the visitor center there was a Northern 
Harrier and an Eastern Meadowlark.  There were a few migrant Sparrows, by the 
feeders.  But we did not see any Warblers or Kinglets this morning.  Here are a 
few of the species that we observed: Trumpeter SwanNorthern HarrierRed-headed
