Grass Lake is a remnant of Richfield Lake that was "cut-off" when Lyndale Ave. was extended several decades ago. Grass Lake is tucked between Hwy 62 on the south, 58th St. on the north; Lyndale cutoff of the east and about Logan on the west. Probably the best way to get there is off Lyndale Ave; go west on 58th St.; south on Dupont and keep moving south. Alternatively, you can go east off Penn at 60th. Go straight when 60th curves to the north. You'll find the lake at the bottom of the hill. Richfield Lake is across 66th St. from Wood Lake NC, just north of 65th. You can take 65th west from Lyndale or go south of 66th at the Super America station. There is on street parking and construction east of the Post Office / SA station. Richfield Lake has hard surface paths; access is approximately opposite the post office. Tony Smith Saint Louis Park
