I counted 70 Stilt Sandpipers at the lewiston sewage ponds today. there were also greater and lesser yellowlegs, killdeer & snipe to be seen.
for those of you who aren't aware the remaining pond is being dried up. it is about half water and a half mud now. the next few weeks should be amazing for shore birds. get here this year because next year it will be gone.
