Trumpeter Swans are back and pairing up in Becker County. Follow Carrol Henderson back to the site of his first swan release 25 years ago at Tamarac NWR. Since the re-introduction program you can now see more than 30 nesting pair on the refuge and over 5,000 in the state. Henderson will be presenting during the Detroit Lakes Festival of Birds on Thursday, May 17 at Tamarac and will be one of the guides on the Tamarac NWR birding trip on Saturday, May 19.
