Studied the smaller cormorant this morning for 15 minutes before it left.  On 
one hand, it is substantially smaller.  On the other hand, no gular patch was 
visible, the orange extended higher in the eye than one would wish, and the 
tail in flight appeared of normal DC length.  

I have only seen one neo-trop before, briefly, and am open to input.
