This afternoon at the Albany ³settling ponds² were Least Sandpipers-dozens, Wilson¹s Phalarope-dozens, Stilt Sandpiper (2), Greater Yellowlegs(1), Spotted Sandpiper (2), Killdeer. Probably other peeps as well, but my optics, such as they were, were limited and I was only able to discern the closer birds. Also of interest was a small flock of Yellow-headed Blackbirds-both male and female.
