May 23, 2012 Noon to 1:00 pm Just returned from a short walk at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuges, Black Dog unit. Directions to this unit and other Refuge units, can be found on the Refuges web site. Which can be found with a simple search for Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. Highlights were hearing, three Bell's Vireos, 5 Willow Flycatchers and a few Sedge Wrens. All were heard along the main trail, from the first power lines to the large dead tree.
