Just returned from a quick dash out to the Purgatory Creek wetlands to check for any shorebirds that may have come in ahead of the storm. I was happy to see that 3 Hudsonian Godwits and 1 Marbled Godwit had joined the Short-billed Dowitchers, Semipalmated Plovers and others that have been present the past few evenings. Tonight was also the first night this week with a significant amount of exposed mud, I'm sure that situation will change after tonight's rain.
