Shorebird numbers were down again today.  15 species were seen during my
survey:
Killdeer
Greater Yellowlegs   1
Spotted Sandpiper   8
Hudsonian Godwit  2
Marbled Godwit     ~20
"Western" Willet     3
Ruddy Turnstone     1
Dunlin    ~30
White-rumped Sandpiper  ~15
Semipalmated Sandpiper   ~15
Least Sandpiper   ~10
Pectoral Sandpiper   3
Short-billed Dowitcher    1
Wilson's Snipe      2
Wilson's Phalarope   ~10

The majority of water birds reported previously continue.  Sightings that
were interesting to me today were:

Wood Ducks    lots   These were rare during the height of waterfowl
migration
American Black Duck    3+   I had none during the height of waterfowl
migration
Ruddy Duck   lots
Western Grebe   12
American White Pelican   13
Green Heron    1
American Bittern  3 seen many heard
Bonaparte's Gull   >12  Almost all were 1st summer
Black-billed Magpie    1
