Shorebird numbers were down again today. 15 species were seen during my survey: Killdeer Greater Yellowlegs 1 Spotted Sandpiper 8 Hudsonian Godwit 2 Marbled Godwit ~20 "Western" Willet 3 Ruddy Turnstone 1 Dunlin ~30 White-rumped Sandpiper ~15 Semipalmated Sandpiper ~15 Least Sandpiper ~10 Pectoral Sandpiper 3 Short-billed Dowitcher 1 Wilson's Snipe 2 Wilson's Phalarope ~10
The majority of water birds reported previously continue.
