The pair of Prothonotary Warblers that others reported at Crosby Farm Park
showed up briefly this morning precisely at the spot where they were found
yesterday, in the backwater pond down from the east parking lot. They
didn't hang around at all, though. In and out.

I also found the Hooded Warbler at Lebanon HIlls Park (is there only one?)
again. Last Saturday Dave Bartkey and I found it near marker 41, but we
got only a brief look, and Saturday was dark and overcast. Today I found
it right at marker 48 around 1:00. It sang repeatedly and gave some good
looks. Beautiful bird!

Also, early this morning I noticed some shorebirds in a flooded area of a
field just W of Dennison. I think they were mostly peeps, but I was on a
bike ride with several other riders and had no binoculars, so I didn't get
a good look.
