I have a friend who lives near Duluth who has had barred owls visiting her yard the last several years. This week she saw an owl harvesting earth worms and was wondering if this was a normal part of their diet as she has not observed that before. I have found no mention of worms as part of their diet but they are described as opportunistic feeders. Any thoughts?
