Figured I'd jump on the dickcissel bandwagon. There is one male singing and
defending a territory in the city of detroit lakes in the north industrial
park. There was also a bobolink in the ID park. The area is newly "improved"
but not yet built. Mostly clover/alphalpha and some reed canary grass. Same
area that the lapland longspurs were in earlier this spring.
