My good friend Curt Rawn and I decided to get a Birds and Beers going in Duluth this upcoming week. It's short notice, but on Tuesday, June 19th we'll meet at 6pm at Sir Benedict's Tavern on the Lake. Sir Benedict's (known as Sir Ben's) has the 3rd-largest selection of on-tap beers in Duluth, and hosts a great view of Lake Superior from both inside and outside of the tavern. Within a 10 minute drive through town is Canal Park and Park Point, which are fantastic spots for birdwatching in the Duluth area. We'll be there until at least 9pm. Like other Birds and Beers gatherings, there isn't a cut off time and you're welcome to arrive & leave as you please. It's a fun time to relax and enjoy the good company of other fellow bird nerds!
