This morning I walked to Bagley Nature Area from my house, and had some great finds and a fun time taking photos. One of the biggest highlights was hearing & seeing a male Black-throated Green Warbler, male Chestnut-sided Warbler, and a male Indigo Bunting sing back and forth to hold their territories strong, for almost half an hour!
My eBird list is below. Although small, Bagley Nature Area has some wonderful habitat and fun trails to hike! http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S11058182 Chestnut-sided Warbler http://www.pbase.com/birdfedr/image/144382335 http://www.pbase.com/birdfedr/image/144382336 http://www.pbase.com/birdfedr/image/144382337 Indigo Bunting http://www.pbase.com/birdfedr/image/144382338 American Robin http://www.pbase.com/birdfedr/image/144382331 Song Sparrow http://www.pbase.com/birdfedr/image/144382339 Common Yellowthroat http://www.pbase.com/birdfedr/image/144382334 In case you haven't been to the trails of Bagley, this is what some of the trails look like http://www.pbase.com/birdfedr/image/144382332 Little quiz bird, for fun http://www.pbase.com/birdfedr/image/144382333 Good birding, Erik Bruhnke Duluth, MN -- *NATURALLY AVIAN* - Birding Tours and Bird photography [email protected] www.pbase.com/birdfedr www.facebook.com/NaturallyAvian www.naturallyavian.blogspot.com ---- Join or Leave mou-net: http://lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=mou-net Archives: http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mou-net.html
