Forest was the 20th President of the MOU in 1961 and 1962. He was one of the first to serve 2 years. Since that time serving 2 years is more common but it wasn't in those days. We also remember that he had spent some time bird banding but somebody else will have to fill us in on that.

This came in last night from the denomination which Forest served all of his life. I spoke with my secretary this morning about her remembrances of Forest and his birding activities were high on her list of things she remembered him for. He served the church I am now serving in the late 1940 and early 50's. Peace be to his memory.
