This afternoon, July 14, I arrived at the 180th St marsh in time to see two
Common Gallinules. They were apart, came together, and one went into the reeds
while the other tantalized us for a good half hour, flitting to and from the
reeds, but staying mostly in sight. No sign of any babies.
