As my wife and I were leaving the Woodbury theater late Monday afternoon, we noticed nighthawks flying overhead. Numbers increased as we drove east on Valley Creek Rd and then north on Century. We found the center of their activity - about 50 nighthawks - feeding above a field just north of the Ramsey County Correctional facility on Century Ave.
