A Red-breasted Nuthatch was foraging in the yard yesterday (Sunday) here in Plymouth. This is the first one seen in our yard since Feb, 2008.
Our “resident” juvenile Broad-winged Hawk stopped by for a visit. On Saturday he/she caught a squirrel in our neighbor’s yard. Perhaps it will now start working on our ample supply of chipmunks and squirrels.
