The road through Lake Vadnais is closed today. I assume the road construction and re-making of the area has begun since there has been some big equipment parked there. Ironically, yesterday was the first day in quite a while that we actually saw a few small groups of warblers there. We will certainly miss having that lovely drive no longer open to through traffic.
