As many as a dozen (but likely 20 or more) Plovers, apparently Am.Golden Pl. Along MN Hwy 212 (on north side of hwy) about a mile east of Brownton again in McLeod Cty. This site is about a mile north of Schaefers Prairie. Very busy hwy with limited shoulder space. Scope is a must. The shorebirds are well camoflagged in green-brown mudflats. Pete Hoeger
