While enjoying American Golden & Black-bellied Plovers on Sherburne NWR's Auto
Tour, the flock was disturbed by a raptor, which landed close by. The
accipiter shape, large size, strong brown barring, white supercillium and pale
bar on the greater coverts in flight left me with one conclusion, immature
Northern Goshawk.

Tad early to be down here?
