While enjoying American Golden & Black-bellied Plovers on Sherburne NWR's Auto Tour, the flock was disturbed by a raptor, which landed close by. The accipiter shape, large size, strong brown barring, white supercillium and pale bar on the greater coverts in flight left me with one conclusion, immature Northern Goshawk.
