I dropped my daughter off at work and took a spin around Lake Harriet today, Saturday, October 13. On the West shore, just north of 44th Street there was Red-necked Grebe in transitioning to Winter plumage and three Winter plumage Horned Grebe. Two Winter plumage Common Loon were present on the lake.
