Today about 10:00 AM while working in the city rose garden above Lief Ericson
Park I first heard then located 2 Boreal Chickadees in the Spruces near the
bathroom building. They continued to call and move south thru the park
eventually heading west towards Fitgers and the lakewalk. This is another new
bird for one of my "in the park" lists! One or two others were also seen in
Grand Marais within the town this past weekend so maybe they are invading!
