Black Dog road is open again, but there is a sign at each end warning that it's a minimal maintenance road and to travel at your own risk. The holes are patched with loose rock so it is passable. I'm assuming when it snows it may not be a good road for travel. I counted 6 bald eagles when I drove the road yesterday late in the afternoon.
