With thanks to Sparky, for his posting on the Northern Hawk Owl and Bohemian
Waxwings. Marlene Dollive and I were able to relocate both of those species
this morning. We also tried unsuccessfully to relocate the previously posted
Barrow's Goldeneye. Here area few of the species we did see today.

Wisconsin:
There were lots of Gulls at the Superior Landfill. We did not spend a lot of
time there, but did see a number of Glaucous and lots of Herring Gulls in the
flock.
The Superior entry way was frozen, with no waterfowl visible from the end of
Wisconsin point.

St. Louis County:
Glaucous Gull - Observed several out from the WLS Water treatment plant. We
observed the birds from a side road, off of Garfield Ave.
Greater Black-backed Gull - We observed one adult Greater Black-backed Gull, in
flight and sitting in with some Herring Gulls at the above location.
Northern Hawk Owl - We relocated the Northern Hawk Owl, in the previously
reported location along Martin Road at 11:00 am. The bird was sitting in a
small tree right along the North side of the road.
Bohemian Waxwing - Around Noon, we relocated the flock of Bohemian Waxwings SW
of the originally posted location. The flock was on the East side of 2nd Ave,
about 1/2 mile South of Martin Road.

Thanks again for all the postings, Craig
