Greetings All:
When I received my copy of "The Loon" in the mail yesterday, I was overjoyed
with seeing the photos that my brother, Chris, took of the brown pelican in Red
Wing that made the front cover and inside the issue. Yes, Chris took them, not
me. I made the mistake of filling out an RQD (Request for Documentation) form
without having given Chris photo credit. In fact, I have never taken one photo
through Chris's camera!
I also want to share how proud I am of Chris. Chris is a fine photographer, an
exceptional birder, a better person, and the very best brother I could ever
have! Chris has frequently given me the credit for things that he should be
credited for. This is just another example, but this time it's on me.
Last night we took the time to go out to dinner and celebrate his fine
achievement!
