Spring may be here, but my feeders tell me we are still in transition, for I
still have scores of redpolls, with siskins, house finch, purple finch,
goldfinch, red and white-breasted nuthatch all on the same feeder with
juncos feeding on the ground below, and the tom turkey that spent nearly two
months on my deck last fall is back on the railing displaying.
