Stopped by Lake Byllesby and Randolph industrial park late Sunday
afternoon. Randolph industrial park was quiet with the exception of both
meadowlarks singing and a couple of Killdeer on the wing.

At Lake Byllesby we found 22 species of waterfowl including 2 loons, Tundra
Swans, more than 200 Green-winged Teal, displaying Common Goldeneye, about
20 Pintails. There were over 100 Pelicans and more cormorants. We had at
least five species of shorebirds including both yellowlegs and over 150
Pectoral Sandpipers. Other birds of interest included Golden-crowned
Kinglets, Yellow-rumped Warblers, Osprey, Northern Harrier, Tree Swallows,
Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, and what sounded like thousands of blackbirds.
