This year's Annual Midwest Crane Count will take place this Saturday (4/13) from 5:30 to 7:30 am. This allows the counter to be on site when the pair greets each other at dawn. I have one or two slots to fill to cover Dakota Co. and would welcome someone to ride along with me to keep me awake. And, I know Betsy Beneke was looking for the one or two people for Sherburne County. If you know of a crane pair, I am sure they would welcome you going out and checking them out, yourself.
