4/10/2013 Headed down this afternoon to search for the previously reported
Cinnamon Teal, in Olmsted county with Marlene Dollive. We were at the Silver
Creek Reservoir between 4:15 and 6:50 and did not relocate the Cinnamon Teal.
There were lots of Ducks coming in at the end of our stay, but poor light and
rain. Made viewing difficult during our visit. I did get reports from a
number of people that the Cinnamon Teal was observed in the early afternoon.
So it may be refound again tomorrow morning. There were lots of birds to look
at while there. Some of the species observed were: 10 species of Ducks
including some Northern Pintail, American Wigeon and a couple American Black
Ducks.Sandhill CraneEastern Phoebe - 50+Golden-crowned KingletRuby-crowned

Subject: [mnbird] Olmsted County Cinnamon Teal refound

Chris Hockema called to inform me that brother John Hockema has relocated the
Cinnamon Teal at the Silver Creek Reservoir Wednesday morning. I believe he is
viewing it from the north side (ie, 23rd St. NE just east of it's intersection
with 55th Ave. NE).
