I scouted out the mudflats at Wirth Park again today, and shorebirds have
begun to arrive. Yellowlegs and White-rumped Sandpipers were present, but
I didn't stick around long enough to count/positively ID all birds. Last
year we saw a few birds trickle in at first and then a peak with great
diversity - I'm hoping that peak hits this weekend.

I'll email reports to MOU as I check back throughout the weekend, but I'll
post updates immediately as I see things on the Minnesota Birding facebook
group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/mnbirding/

Have a GREAT weekend! It's beautiful out there!
