Despite the vicious winds that roiled white caps on the flooded fields I found
a few new FOY species on the last day, the last day of April.
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Tree Swallow
Chipping Sparrow

The feeders here at the Bagley Farm are hosting
Blue Jay
Red-winged Blackbird
Fox Sparrow in unprecedented numbers
Chipping, Song, Tree, White-throated Sparrow and Junco
Redpoll, still a few
Goldfinch, and a couple of Siskin and Purple Finch
The regular collection of woodpeckers, nuthatches and Bc Chickadee
A dozen fat squirrels - both red and grey and a half dozen of the local
nervous, emaciated deer
