Good morning,

Anthony Manderfeld and I walked through the "General Mills Research Nature
Area" aka the North 40 in Golden Valley this morning. Many species of
waterfowl were present in small numbers, including shovelers, blue-winged
teal, and hooded merganser. Also present was a single shorebird, but it
was too far out to identify.

We found our first non-Yellow-rumped Warblers also. BLACK-AND-WHITE and
YELLOW WARBLERS were both present.
