Hi All— Today (3 May) I recaptured a Song Sparrow near Dundas (Rice Co.) that I originally banded on 8 April 2010. As Song Sparrows are a relatively recent arrival at the banding station, this late date indicates the foul weather has delayed their spring migration this year.
On my blog, I have belatedly posted an photo of an Orange-crowned Warbler’s crown and muse about its current scientific name.
