Today I arrived at Park Point at 10am and began counting sparrow flocks from 
the Duluth Rowing Club - Southworth Marsh - boat launch - ball field and around 
bath house back to the bus turn round. Huge movement of 
sparrows.<br/><br/>Highlights:<br/>White-throated Sparrow: 812<br/>Swamp 
Sparrow: 76 which might be a state record.<br/>White-crowned Sparrow: 2 ( have 
not arrived in Duluth in good numbers yet ) <br/>Song Sparrow: 27<br/>Chipping 
Sparrow: 3<br/>American Tree; 135<br/>Savannah Sparrow: 3<br/>Clay-colored 
Sparrow: 1<br/>Fox Sparrow: 1<br/>LeConte's Sparrow: 1<br/>Dark-eyed Junco: 
108<br/> <br/>Misses or have not arrived yet in Duluth: Lincoln's Sparrow and 
Harris's Sparrow<br/><br/>Like to thank Peder Svingen who I birded with all day 
and helped with my count. Today was a exceptional day to spend the whole day at 
Park Point. A lot of bird movement all day long. <br/><br/>The Northern 
Mockingbird is still foraging in the yards across the street
 from the Duluth Rowing Club as of today. <br/><br/>Good
